The Best Diet In The World?
So, of all the different diets and eating systems are there are in the world, which one really is the best.
There are the famous one's, systems of green days and red days, counting points, no carb and low carb, grapefruit or cabbage soup, milkshakes or meal replacement bars. Each of those systems is basically the same, its all about what you eat. And therein lies the fault, what you eat is only part of the problem.
For many people overeating, or just eating when they not hungry, is just a habit. While for many others it is a coping mechanism, a way of dealing with stuff, a way of distracting from the challenges of life around them. Some people have a fear of hunger, they need to know there is always food at hand, and then there are those who just do not yet have the internal control mechanism to stop once they have started.
The answer is not to focus only on what is being eaten, this will do nothing to help. Dieting does nothing more than make you afraid of food
There is no one single diet that is any better than any other.
Your grandmother had it about right, “ have a little of what you fancy…”
The key things naturally skinny people do are very simple. They eat only when they are hungry, a physical hunger that is, and they stop when they are full.
When to start eating has nothing to do with the time of day or social expectations, it is all to do with internal physical needs; and stopping has nothing to do with what’s left on the plate either and every thing to do with how physically satisfied they are.
The best diet in the world?
There isn’t one, its all about your relationship with food. Its all about being back in control of these two simple things, starting and stopping.
